Restaurant
Voodoo Brewing - Scranton
Project Overview
Cerminaro Construction completed a full design-build renovation for Voodoo Brewing’s Scranton location, transforming an empty interior space within a historic former silk mill into a fully operational brewery and restaurant. The project focused on preserving the space’s industrial character while delivering a functional, brand-forward hospitality environment.
Existing structural members were cleaned through shot blasting to expose and preserve the original steel and wood, reinforcing the industrial aesthetic. All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems were newly installed and intentionally left exposed at the ceiling level to maintain the raw, open feel of the space.
The build-out included a complete commercial kitchen installation with all required utilities, polished concrete floors throughout the front-of-house areas, and construction of the custom bar featuring a poured concrete bar top. Custom pallet tables and furniture were fabricated to align with Voodoo Brewing’s brand identity and atmosphere.
Through close collaboration with Fancy Parsley Architecture, Cerminaro delivered a cohesive design-build solution that balances durability, functionality, and character. The completed space reflects the brewery’s industrial roots while providing a welcoming, high-quality environment for patrons.
