What began as a vision in 1986 has grown into a legacy spanning four generations of the Cerminaro family. Founded by Sal Cerminaro, the company was built on a simple but powerful principle: deliver quality construction with the personal accountability that only a family enterprise can provide.

James W. Cerminaro is born
At 15 years old, James Cerminaro Sr. leaves school to work as a plasterman under the name James Gerard so that he could get work in a predominantly Irish Catholic city

Sal Cerminaro
Founder & President
Sal founded Cerminaro Construction in 1986 with a vision of building quality commercial and industrial projects with personal accountability. With over 35 years in construction, he remains actively involved in estimating, project oversight, and mentoring the next generations of Cerminaro builders.
Nick Cerminaro
Vice President
Representing the next generation of Cerminaro leadership, Nick combines modern project management expertise with our family's legacy of hands-on accountability. He oversees day-to-day operations, leads major initiatives, and continues the tradition of direct owner involvement on every project.

Dean Johnson
Project Manager
Dean brings decades of hands-on carpentry and field leadership experience to Cerminaro Construction. He leads daily site operations, directing carpentry crews and coordinating trades to ensure precision, safety, and quality craftsmanship at every stage of construction. With deep expertise in interior and exterior carpentry, layout, and subcontractor relationships, Dean plays a critical role in turning plans into well-executed structures built to specification.
Rick Fisher
Project Manager
Rick combines a background in civil engineering with practical field experience to deliver technically sound and well-coordinated projects. He plays a big part in estimating, site layout, scheduling, and subcontractor management, with particular strength in site work planning and constructability review. Rick's technical perspective helps ensure projects are efficiently planned, accurately quantified, and executed in accordance with design and engineering requirements.
Christian Simrell
Project Manager
Christian brings an architectural design background to Cerminaro Construction, strengthening the company's design-build capabilities. With a degree in architecture, he works closely with owners, architects, and engineers to bridge the gap between concept and construction. His training allows him to anticipate design challenges early and streamline coordination during preconstruction. Christian plays an active role in estimating, drafting, and collaborative project delivery that balances aesthetics, functionality, and constructability.
