Minooka Subaru
Project Overview
Cerminaro Construction served as General Contractor for a multi-phase renovation and expansion of the Minooka Subaru dealership, transforming the facility while maintaining continuous dealership operations. A primary focus of the project was careful phasing and coordination to ensure customer safety and uninterrupted sales and service activities throughout construction.
The project included a full remodel of the existing 4,300 SF showroom, featuring upgraded interior finishes and a revised layout to improve customer experience. A 6,800 SF building addition was constructed on the left side of the facility to expand body shop and garage space, followed by a 10,000 SF addition to fully revamp the service department. The expanded service area includes a new customer lounge, restrooms, service counter, and express service bays designed to increase operational efficiency.
Site improvements were a major component of the scope and included demolition of adjacent structures to create a large new parking area, installation of a complete underground stormwater management system, site grading, and new pavement and hardscape throughout the property.
Exterior upgrades unified the entire facility with new finishes, including a rubber roof system, insulated metal panel wall assemblies, and Subaru’s signature tower elements. The completed project delivered a modernized dealership with expanded service capabilities, improved site circulation, and a cohesive brand-forward appearance, all executed while the dealership remained fully operational.
