Maternal and Family Health Services

Cerminaro Construction completed a full second-floor interior build-out for Maternal and Family Health Services within a previously unused warehouse space. The project transformed the raw, vacant interior into a modern medical facility while preserving the historic character of the building.

The architectural design intentionally left the existing ceiling structure and mechanical systems exposed in public lobbies and waiting areas, maintaining the industrial aesthetic of the original building. This approach was balanced with medical-grade finishes throughout the facility to meet the functional and regulatory requirements of a healthcare environment.

Key features of the build-out include a new elevator providing direct access from the main lobby to the second-floor suite, a high-end staff kitchen, numerous private offices and exam rooms, and a concealed LED lighting system integrated along the corridors to create a comfortable, calming atmosphere.

The project also included the complete fit-out of a Benco dental office located within the rear portion of the MFHS space, seamlessly integrated into the overall layout. Before-and-after photography highlights the dramatic transformation from empty warehouse to a fully operational, high-quality healthcare facility.
